Drawing with Light

The third photo we were moving around multiple light so all the lights ended up looking like a mosh pit of all different colors. I had the camera on a longer shutter speed, so it could capture more of the light and motion. we used a light source from the string lights, and the little finger lights. We started moving all the lights, and as i took the picture, it took pictures over and over for about thirty seconds, and it got all of the different light sources. I think the photo has the impact of being very excited.
Motion
The shutter speed I used to make purpose blur action was 1/50. The part of the image that shows blur is the whole picture, but you can see the background not blurry. The distance from the person I was taking the pictures of was not to far from the camera, but far enough so they could have their whole body in the frame. You can see the texture of the pompom, and the tree in the background.

Depth of field/Aperture
Select one of your images that show a shallow depth of field.
The f-stop i used was 4.The IOS I used was 3200, and the WB i used was custom. I was not using a point and shoot camera.
Discuss one of your images that show a large depth of field.
The f-stop I used was 18. The ISO i used was 3200, and the Wb was a custom once again.I was not on a point and shoot camera.
I like the image with the shallow depth of field more, because of the way the words above the switches slowly start to get blurry like they are fading away. You would want to use a shallow depth of field when you only want a little bit of your photo in focus, and most of it to be out of focus and blurry. A large depth of field would be better when you are taking a picture of something large, and the photo would have more of a meaning if it happened to be all in focus.

Shadow and Reflection
I took my photos in my driveway, and also in my room. I wasn't able to use those setting, but most were used with HDR. My photo was taken in my driveway, and its a picture of my truck being reflected by the tailgate of my dads truck. My truck is being reflected by my dads truck. I included most of the trucks in the picture. I held my phone up high, so I could get most of the trucks reflection, and angled the phone down a little bit also. I think that my photograph is visually interesting, because you are able to see the truck through the red, but still see that the other truck is white, and your eyes can follow the curvy lines i the photograph. The photograph has a realist yet playful mood. This is because even though the picture is just of a truck reflection, the fact that it is a reflection makes it see pretty playful. If i was to set the white balance and iso, i would have used cloudy, and something like 3200.
