Line And Shape
Reflection
All of these photos were taken in Berkley, most were taken in the Berkley heritage park just over the Berkley Dighton bridge, and one was taken in a parking lot in Berkley. One of the pictures is of a spiderweb that I saw at the Berkley Heritage Park, that was between a bush and a little pile of rocks on the ground. It looked very peaceful, especially with the little pollen doodles in the web. I was about a foot or two from the web, and I angled the camera down a very little bit so I didn't get a little glare from the sun into my camera. I took the photo straight on to the web, but I angled the camera down a very little bit so I could take the picture without a flare from the sun in my camera. When the photos were taken, some were horizontal and some were vertical. The web happened to be originally horizontal, while the Bench seat pallets were vertical. For most of the photos, I did not consider the rule of thirds, but in the photo of the web, i did consider the rule of third a little. Most of the corners happened to be on the area were the web crossed over each other. My photo of the web is a dynamic composition, because as the web spins in circles, it leads your eyes through the photo so you see the web, then the little pollen doodles sticking off of the web.
Pattern and Texture
My best photo is the log shot, not the multiple logs, the close up of the one log. it was of a very big log i have in my yard right now. I got very close to the wood and took a few shots of it, then picked the best one to use for the black and white. My point of view was an above shot, and it was a horizontal shot. The shot does follow the rule of thirds, as some of the lines in the wood happens to follow the lines on the rule of thirds graph. This picture is an example of mainly texture and a little bit of pattern, because you can tell the texture of the wood, and see a little patter as the logs. An image that i have that might be overexposed is the picture of the dog fur, as some parts of it seem to get very bright, and some get very dark. and the contrast does not look nice. The image that i think might be underexposed is the picture of the new school. this is because inside the windows seem very dark. I think the picture with the best exposure is the picture of the multiple logs. This is because you can see the black and whiter colors, and you can also see many different kinds of grey colors in the picture also.
